Becoming Linux Literate I – Linux tutorials

http://www.linux.org/ has a tutorial on learning how to use Linux. It is located at http://www.linux.org/ lessons/beginner/toc.html.

Today, I got most of the way through Lesson 4, up to http://www.linux.org/ lessons/beginner/ l4/lesson4e.html.

Also, they have a list of all the Linux distributions! This is very helpful to a newbie like me, as there are only about 10 kajillion different distributions.

(Okay, so I exaggerate – when I did a search at http://www.linux.org/dist/ for all distributions, including unmaintained distributions, only 409 were listed.)

Speaking of Linux, check out the current storyline at http://www.userfriendly.org/. AJ, AJ, AJ . . . . . when will you get a clue? (Or even just some courage!)
